A lot of people have been asking when they can get their hands on the new LG "Aloha" and UT Starcom "Super Slice" phones. Well the wait for the "Aloha" is now over, sort of. The phone officialy went on sale last week, but currently is only available at Virgin Megastores for
$34.99. The "Aloha" will go on sale everywhere else in september at the same price, and the "Super Slice" will also go on sale at that time. Pricing for the "Super Slice" has yet to be determined.

Now there aren't a lot of Virgin Megastores left around the country, but if you live in New York, LA, or a few other places you can go out and pick up the new LG "Aloha" today.

......and, the new Super Slice has that Bluetooth capability!
The Super Slice is capable of handling 500 contacts ... but you're going to have to enter them all manually!!! VM has ensured the phone has no capability of importing a CSV contact file. Bluetooth is available only for a headset and no data transfer.
Decision tree:
Decision A: Use current phone with phone list already entered and transferable off SIM card ...
Decision B: Enter all contact information manually in Super Slice and, if VM offers a new, better phone, never be able to transfer that manually entered list into the new phone.
Not a hard choice ... idiots in marketing at VM ...
