With the release last month of the new cross-messaging packs as well as support for Yahoo! services, there seems to be a lot of confusion as to which services are available on what phones. With a messaging pack you get Text, Pix, IM, and Mobile Email for as low as 1¢ per message, depending on what plan you're on. But not every service is available on every phone.
So here's the break down on who can get what:
*All Virgin Mobile phones support Text messaging
*The Audiovox "Flasher V7" supports both Text and Pix messaging
*In addition to Text and Pix, the UTStarcom "Snapper" supports IM (both AOL and Yahoo!) ONLY
*Text and Pix messgaing, IM (both AOL and Yahoo!), and Mobile Email are supported on the Kyocera "Slider Sonic", Kyocera "Switch_Back", and Kyocera "Cyclops"
